DESCRIPTION
MAXBOND® is a one-component quid based
on acrylic resins, specially formulated to
improve the bonding between different layers
of concrete. For mortars, it provides greater
adhesion on smooth and porous-free surfaces
or on the contrary very absorbent substrates.
It acts as a bonding agent between the two
elements to joining.
Application Fields
On existing concrete which needs to be
repaired or building up of compression
layers.
For paving to place a new flagstone on
top of the existing one.
Cement-based renders and plasters on
walls and ceilings, indoor or outdoor,
which are very porous and absorbent.
Application of cement-based layers over
substrates with no porosity such as polished concrete, natural stone, marble,
etc.
For priming absorbent substrates before
applying tile mortars.
To stick loose pieces of ceramics back on
to the mortar.
Advantages
High adhesion on absorbent substrates,
avoiding the fast drying-time of concrete,
mortar and gypsum.
High adhesion over non-porous or
polishing supports, saving additional costs
of surface preparation treatments.
Alkali-resistant.
Suitable to be applied on damp surfaces.
