Swimming Pool Systems
DRIZORO Waterproofing Systems are based on the use of materials which satisfy the highest requirements of durability and reliability.
The proposed systems besides getting a water retaining structure watertight, without water losses by filtration, protect the concrete to prevent spoilage, and provide a suitable surface to apply the final coatings of the pool.
The DRIZORO Waterproofing Systems also address the execution of out-standing points present in swimming pools such as formwork holes, expansion and cold joints, wall-slab encounters, overflow, grids, skimmers, passing pipes, luminaires, ladders, etc.

MAXSEAL® FLEX SYSTEM
MAXSEAL® FLEX is a particularly suitable material when concrete surface has micro-cracks or is subjected to small movements as in the case of the swimming pools.
The waterproofing the pool structure is achieved by applying MAXSEAL® FLEX; continuous coating consisting of a flexible cement-based waterproofing mortar. Applied in two coats with a load of about 1,0-1,5 kg/m2 each, the water tight of the pool with a thicknesses of 2 mm is achieved.
MAXSEAL® FLEX + CONCRESEAL® PLASTERING + MAXURETHANE® POOL SYSTEM
MINERAL COATING:
After curing for 7 days of MAXSEAL® FLEX waterproof coating, apply the CONCRESEAL® PLASTERING decorative high strength finish mortar of high strength in a continuous and uniform thickness from 3 to 5 mm.
TRANSPARENT AND PROTECTIVE COATING:
MAXURETHANE® POOL is a transparent, water-based aliphatic polyurethane coating suitable for protection of the CONCRESEAL® PLASTERING mineral finishing on swimming pools, fountains, artificial lakes, etc.
After curing for 7 days of MAXSEAL® FLEX waterproof coating, apply the CONCRESEAL® PLASTERING decorative high strength finish mortar of high strength in a continuous and uniform thickness from 3 to 5 mm.

For this system, the process described above will be repeated, until the application of the CONCRESEAL® PLASTERING high strength, decorative mineral coating.
COLOURED PROTECTIVE AND DECORATIVE COATING
Coloured finish with MAXURETHANE® 2C Before applying of coloured finishing, apply MAXPRIMER® PUR as priming. MAXPRIMER® PUR is a transparent, one-component, sovent-based silane primer that once applied reacts and provides chemical anchors between substrate and subsequent coatings, working as chemical bonding agent. MAXURETHANE® 2C is a two-component, coloured, solvent-based aliphatic polyurethane coating with matt or glossy appearance and suitable for protection and decorative finishing of swimming pools.
For this system, the process described above will be repeated, until the application of the CONCRESEAL® PLASTERING high strength, decorative mineral coating.

MAXSEAL® FLEX FINISHED WITH CERAMIC TILES SYSTEM
CERAMIC TILE FINISH:
For finishing with tiles in swimming pool, the use of MAXKOLA® FLEX flexible tiling mortar of high performance is recommended. Thus, a full flexible system compatible with the previous MAXSEAL® FLEX waterproofing is achieved.
For grouting the gap between tiles, MAXJOINT® FLEX POOL is used. This is a flexible grouting mortar with high microbiological resistance against algae and fungi, preventing the proliferation of mildew on the grout surface.
For finishing with tiles in swimming pool, the use of MAXKOLA® FLEX flexible tiling mortar of high performance is recommended. Thus, a full flexible system compatible with the previous MAXSEAL® FLEX waterproofing is achieved.
